The owner made this stay for me. He was so warm, helpful, and clearly cared about his guests having a good time. He even drove me to his favorite Roti spot, which meant a lot. The guesthouse itself is simple, but comfortable and welcoming. Its spacious kitchen is well equipped, open for use anytime, and has a great fridge. The price is absolutely. I’d happily come back and recommend it, whether you’re passing through Tobago or staying a few days or even weeks to explore, enjoy the vibe, and have a good time.

I’m already planning another trip to Candles In The Wind after my second stay there. The room was clean and well maintained, and the location is hard to beat: major restaurants, street food, beaches, convenience stores, and pharmacies are nearby. It’s also close to the ANR Robinson International Airport, so transportation is easy to find. Andrew greeted me warmly and is one of the most genuine people I’ve met. He’s easy to talk with for hours and knows plenty about local entertainment, food, especially soup, beaches, and other tourist spots. They rent bikes at a pretty fair price too. I’d 100% recommend booking here.

Andrew is happy to help with recommendations, a special-price boat tour, laundry, or whatever else he can. The beach and plenty of restaurants are within walking distance. This is the only guest house I found in all of T&T with a dorm, which is great for meeting people when you’re travelling alone. There are lockers and room dividers for privacy and safety. I’ll be back!

Andrew, the owner, was really friendly and helpful, and I rented a bike from him to explore Tobago for a day. Beaches, bars, and restaurants were all nearby, and I could easily walk to and from the airport. A great place to stay while visiting Tobago.

The beds have blinds between them for plenty of privacy, and there’s a locker for your things. Everything was clean, and the host was kind and helpful. I needed transport for some dives in Speyside, and he gave me lots of tips. The place is easy to get to and I could walk everywhere. I really enjoyed staying here and would come back 😊
