We left after a stay that felt unsafe, and it took me a few months to put this review into words. From our first night at one of the villas earlier this year, loud music came from next door, even though the reservation form lists that as against the house rules. The next day there was a fight at that villa and police were called. The property keepers came to see what was happening and told us the people there were friends of the villa owner. The whole situation felt sketchy. If you’re running racket at your villas, please don’t put innocent people’s lives at risk. I’d advise people not to stay here.

A peaceful neighborhood and a lovely pool area made this a relaxing stay. The villa is only a 2-minute drive from the airport, with Pigeon Point and Storebay beach close enough to walk to. The en suite bedrooms are spacious and air-conditioned, and it’s good value for the money.

I won’t be booking C & A Seashell Villa again. At 1800 a night, the place needs an upgrade: the lower-floor bathroom flooded whenever we flushed, and every bath left water on the floor because the shower curtains were too short. Only two stove burners worked, and the sole TV was very outdated and downstairs. The kitchen utensils were poor quality, and I struggled to get food into the tiny containers. I’ve never had to do that before.

The bedrooms were comfortable, and the pool was well looked after. The bathrooms could have been cleaner, though, and the dishwasher didn’t work.
