Summerland Suites

It was a lucky find. The people working here are so nice, and it felt like home. I'm already missing the place, and if I come back to Tobago I wouldn't look anywhere else. Everything is close by, with bars, city life and places to eat nearby. We had a car, but you really don't need one if you like walking. The property feels safe and tidy, with well-kept plants all around and a real tropical feel. The pool is the best I've seen in a long time, long and deep. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook, though we only used the fridge. Just keep in mind it's a simple place, a little outdated. If you're looking for luxury for £50, this isn't it, though I doubt you'd find that elsewhere either. It worked really well for me. Thank you Summerland!

We had fun here with my family last December. The staff are always ready to help with any problems, my kids loved the pool, and the location is perfect. I can't wait to come back.

My friend and I stayed at Summer land, and I loved it so much that I later booked it for my mom and her little church group when they visited Tobago. They loved it too. It's clean, with greenery throughout the property, fresh air, a stocked kitchen and friendly staff. The pool is amazing and it's close to everything. And I can't forget the cat, the resort cat I call him. He's adorable, always there to welcome guests, and I love that they treat him well. I'll always stay here when I'm going to Tobago.

The staff were nice, and even though the place was almost empty when we stayed the week before carnival, they offered us larger rooms at no extra charge. First time that's happened to me. It's a fairly long walk east to the nearest shop for water and other things, while the closest business is a popular nightclub. The rooms are very large and spread over two floors. The upstairs AC didn't work, and the TV only worked on the ground floor. They also use torn towels in the entry.
