Forty Winks Inn

Being at 40Winks feels wonderfully personal, and everyone who works there feels like family. It’s in a good neighborhood, right near everything in the city. Staying there for Carnival was the best decision: I didn’t need a ride on Monday or Tuesday because it was all happening just a block or two away. The breakfasts were tasty and healthy, too. Can’t wait to come back for another vacation!

The building and our room were clean, smelled lovely, and the AC worked superbly. There was plenty of space for both my companion’s things and mine, and the room was very comfortable, despite the complaints I’d seen about rooms on booking sites. The customer service was pleasant from my first call through the day I left. It’s a good spot if you want to avoid a crowd and mingle with just a few people. It’s also close to lots of restaurants, bars, and a grocery store. I could go on, and no, I wasn’t given anything or offered a free weekend for this review. It’s genuine. Thanks for the friendly, wonderful service. I hope you visit and enjoy your stay as much as I did 😊

We liked having a different complimentary breakfast each morning, and the rooms were cozy. The inn is within walking distance of several attractions. The rooms have AC, but remember that the weather is hot. Alex & Bonnie

The place was clean, and the staff were friendly and proactive. Luz, Alex, Pam, and the Cuban girl who was there in the morning helped make my Trinidad holiday perfect. They do their best to keep guests happy. All the bedrooms have free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and the staff can also arrange tours for guests.
