Kapok Hotel

We booked Kapok Hotel at the last minute, and my husband and I were really impressed. The room was clean, comfortable and well cared for, and the staff were professional and accommodating the whole time. KAVA Restaurant was also outstanding, from the food to the atmosphere and service. A great experience, and we'd highly recommend it.

We stayed for 2 weeks and loved it. The staff made sure breakfast was enjoyable, smiling and checking that people got what they wanted. There was corn flakes, eggs, sausage, tomato, cucumber, jam, 3 kunds fresh fruits, juice, toast and one chaka, tea and coffee. The place was very clean, service was excellent and everyone was friendly. Special thanks to Natasha, Janelle, Kibiki, Ayanna, Jenille, and Keshia, who made life so easy and relaxed for my wife and me. We definitely plan to come back and enjoy that luxury again. Alison served us at breakfast and noticed our 3 year old daughter was a bit fussy, then helped her feel comfortable. The buffet was nice and the coffee was good. It was my first stay here, for my birthday 🎂, and I have nothing negative to say.

I paid for 2 very uncomfortable nights and won't stay here again. Both rooms I tried had serious noise issues. In the first, an industrial fan right outside the window made a booming sound until the restaurant closed at night, enough to give me a headache. I moved, but the AC in the next room had a faulty fan making a loud crackling noise. Front desk staff and maintenance did their best, but couldn't fix either problem. Management offered a room upgrade and a restaurant coupon as compensation, which I declined. They seemed reluctant to put right a mistake they had made.
