The best part was experiencing local culture and getting immersed in the Trini way of life. I felt safe and looked after, and the host was awesome. The accommodation is basic but well equipped, with a small kitchenette, personal washing machine, bed and bath. It’s within a short walk of public transportation and good value for a budget trip. I enjoyed my stay :)

We felt safe there, and the place had a cozy feel. My family and I stayed at Port lodge for one week and had a great experience. The rooms were large and comfortable, with nice amenities and outdoor recreational space. It was friendly, with great hospitality and good security. We certainly recommend Port Lodge guess house to tourists visiting Trinidad. Truly a blessed place!!

It’s a simple but lovely apartment, and much cheaper than other places that only offer a room. The only issue was the bed creaking and making noise while my girlfriend and I were having an intimate moment. Other than that, there weren’t any problems.

The views from the residence were beautiful, and everything was better than we expected. Ms Alicia was the best host ever. I loved the place and felt very safe and well taken care of.
