The Chancellor

Our last-minute stay in St Anns was only for a couple of days, but we had a great time. A family member who stayed there earlier last year had recommended it. It's a family-run business, and everyone was personable and accommodating. The location beside St Anns Roman Catholic Church has security and works well for weddings. It's also ideal for carnival. I'll be looking at booking it for friends and family coming from away for the festivities. Thanks, R and L, it was a pleasure. We'll see you again soon.

It was clean and smelled good, though the place felt a bit dated and I wouldn't rate it as a 4-star hotel. Breakfast was decent, but there wasn't much variety in drinks. Our shower drain had an issue and they took care of it promptly the next day. It was disappointing that the standard room had no microwave.

It was affordable and conveniently located, but the facilities need some upgrades. The small staff seemed to be doing their best, though the place felt below standard, perhaps compared with how it was a couple of years ago. Breakfast choices were great, while lunch and dinner options weren't much. We didn't get room or maid service, and check-in and check-out both took a little too long for me.

The pool was dirty, and there was no water in the shower until we asked for it. We had to request towels too, and the ones we got were discolored instead of white. The bed wasn't changed every day, and I had to ask for service. The fridge had no water, and there was no iron or washcloth. I'd requested breakfast, but on arrival they said I had to request it again and pay extra. If we wanted hot water for coffee or tea, we had to go into a hot dining room. This is the worst hotel I've ever been to.
