Last night there was no hot water for a shower. When I raised it with the front desk, they were dismissive and didn’t seem willing to fix it. The room was a mess, with a bottle of mineral water left on the table from the previous guest. The hygiene was appalling, and the loose floor felt like a spring mattress, as if nothing had been maintained. They can’t manage basic cleaning or facilities. Absolutely not recommended, think twice before booking.

Our group stayed during the Chinese New Year holiday, and the room was dirty, messy, and damp. Two of the bottled waters were half-open and partly drunk. I don’t know whether the previous guest had drunk from them. There was no toilet paper, the walls had severe mold, and the blankets smelled strongly of mildew. It cost 3900 yuan a night. That isn’t expensive, but the quality still made me feel ripped off. Seriously, I can only give it one star, and otherwise I wouldn’t give it even that. Think twice before booking.

On September 27, 2025, I was planning to rent a car for a self-guided trip and stay at a seaside guesthouse in Sanxiantai, so I could get around between Sanxiantai and go stargazing at night. I hadn’t booked a car in advance for the long weekend and ended up without one. The owner agreed to cancel my stay and reminded me to cancel through the booking platform. Thanks for being kind about it. Next time I have a car, I’ll definitely stay here for a night.
