My son was in town from the US on a business trip and got sick, which had us really worried. We called reception, and they took very good care of him. We're so grateful for the phenomenal service. The hotel was also very clean, with advanced facilities in the room. Highly recommended, I'd give it 10 stars.

The shuttle to Jiayi train station is free, which is a big help if you're traveling without a car. Breakfast was more like a lunch buffet, with loads of Taiwanese dishes alongside Western options. We stayed one night in a double room, and it was a great experience. The room was spacious, with a TOTO toilet and branded shampoo and hand wash. Everyone on the Hsin staff was kind, professional, and helpful. Highly recommend, and thank you all! 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾

We experienced Taiwanese hospitality firsthand through Linlin at the front desk. She was professional and helpful, and her service stood out. We were there as a family with three young children, and the kid-friendly facilities were a plus, including a merry-go-round, go-kart, and play rooms.

The breakfast was terrible, there were children running around unattended, and our three rooms smelled of urine. The towels were old, too. The front desk said a new Taiwanese "green" law means hotels can't provide shampoo, so guests have to buy their own. In two of the rooms, things moved around by themselves.

There’s a lounge for guests with computers, a gym, space for socializing, and games for kids. The room we got was fairly spacious and quiet, and the hotel stay was great. Breakfast was a very good buffet. The downside is that there aren’t eateries or a night market close by. You’ll need to drive about 15-20 minutes to Wenhua Road Night Market. I’d recommend it for families staying in Chiayi City.
