Breakfast was included, and there was a delicious range of dishes to choose from. As cyclists, we felt fine leaving our bikes in the private parking garage attached to our room. The room itself was spacious and clean, with a window over the courtyard garden and its trees. It made the city disappear from view. Ivy motel has a cozy cabin feel as soon as you step inside, and it's a lovely place to stay in Chiayi.

The reception lady was nice, even though she didn't speak English. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke, the shower wasn't proper, and everything was old and in pretty bad shape.

Construction next door made some noise in the morning, outside the motel. The staff apologized sincerely and gave us square cookies, which was kind. Breakfast was hot and nice, and the service was friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable. Inside, the old-style cabin decor felt warm. Our room was clean and spacious, with a big comfortable bed. The location was convenient, with a supermarket and convenience store nearby. We had a great stay.

The guy who helped us was handsome and gave very good service. The room was really clean and had a distinctive feel. I'll stay here again next time I visit Chiayi 😃😀😀
