The room was clean and in excellent condition. This is one of the newer hotels in Chiayi, a little farther from the tourist attractions, but the facilities are great. The pool and jacuzzi were nice, and the gym is very well equipped, with dumbbells up to 30kgs.

Breakfast was marvelous, with lots of Western and Chinese dishes, all clearly labeled for vegetarians and vegans. We were upgraded to a nice suite thanks to IHG status, and had great views from the 29th floor. The hotel is easy to reach from the HSR station by bus using Google Maps, and the city center is also accessible by bus. Very nice hotel.

The rooftop bar has great city views. Our room was clean and quiet, and the hotel is part of the IHG chain. Breakfast is served in a big room with assigned dining times, and they accommodate guests. Free Wi-Fi, too.

We had such a good stay at VOCO that we extended our time in chiayi there. The staff gave us sincere, genuine advice and help. Mr Chen Ke Ying especially helped organize our last-minute trip to Alishan, stayed in touch with the transport company even after his shift ended, and made sure we got back safely.

We had a magical family stay with the kids. Our room looked out toward Alishan, and it was clean, new, and had super-comfy beds. The girls loved the nice biscuits in the room, and we enjoyed the coffee there too. Housekeeping even tucked in their soft toys while we were away in Alishan. The hotel is a short drive from the night market, yet far enough away to be peaceful. Free parking was a real plus. A sure bet for a family stay in Chiayi, and we'll come back to try the pool.
