Macchiato

The room was tiny, there was no water provided, and the sound insulation was poor. We could hear doors opening and closing all over the building. When we checked out the next day, the lobby was still dim and empty. It was a confusing, very poor stay. We’d booked through photos online and been told it was a three-star hotel, but when we arrived it felt more like a bed and breakfast. Check-in hours were strict, so we hurried over before dinner, only to wait half an hour with no one apparently in the hotel. The lobby lights weren’t even on. We called the front desk number around ten times or more, but the calls kept disconnecting. As our dinner reservation got closer, we became more anxious. We tried several ways to reach them, including leaving a note, messaging through Agoda, and finally finding customer service on Facebook. They replied that the front desk staff was having dinner and we had to wait until she finished. That was frustrating. Because we were short on time, we left our luggage in the lobby and took a taxi to dinner, after asking the front desk to leave instructions for checking in. When we returned, we were locked out because they’d forgotten to give us the gate code.

The room was spacious, the beds were really comfortable, and check-in was easy. The person who checked us in was friendly. We had a good stay and would probably come back to this nice bed and breakfast. A few things could be better. One roll of toilet paper wasn’t enough for three people, or the four we were supposed to be, over two days. There was no refrigerator or drinking water in the room, so we had to go to reception. There wasn’t much space for clothes or for hanging our towels to dry, and we kept the same towels throughout our stay. We also had quite a lot of ants in the room.

It’s a cozy, average place in a good location. The Agoda pictures look too surreal compared with reality. I’d recommend it for a group.
