You’re staying in a cafe, and breakfast comes with great coffee. Try for the top-floor room, it has a little outdoor space.

The hotel is in a great spot, with markets and places to eat just outside and Shenong street only a few minutes away, all lit up with lanterns. It was tricky to find at first, since Google Maps doesn’t lead through the small alleys. I posted photos and directions to help others get there. The apartment is thoughtfully laid out, with minimal furnishings but everything we needed: a kettle, hair dryer, hangers, towels, strong AC, blackout curtains, and very comfortable bedding. They left water and snacks for us, and later added more water, toilet paper, and bug spray for when nobody was around at night. There’s also room in the smeg fridge for travelers’ things. The towels smelled like wet dog, unfortunately. Everything else was nicely arranged, and I wish we’d stayed longer. Thanks for the hospitality!
