FunNan Guesthouse

There are several different rooms, and the tatami one was a fun experience. The hostel has a kitchen and shared space, and it's well located near lots of food options.

The owner was exceptionally nice, and we would definitely return to this lovely place. The rooms and interior have a really nice Japanese style.

I travel a lot, and this is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. It's beautiful, authentic, old but well maintained, and probably recently refurbished with old furniture. The location is VERY WELL located, and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. Every detail feels thoughtfully and sweetly designed, from the delicious kitchen snacks, with healthy options too, to the bathrooms and lovely outdoor hand-washing area. There are a terrace and balcony, outlets by every bed, each with a cute individual lamp, and a communal tatami space with an old long table. I could go on. Everything makes you feel amazing. I'm staying longer than I planned. You can tell the hosts love the guesthouse and their guests.

The rustic look feels carefully put together and was a pleasure to be around. The staff were so friendly and respectful. When I was about to miss my train, they even called a cab for me. I loved every moment here.
