Taipei Main Station is about a five-minute walk away, and Ximending is around 12 minutes away. You can also use three pin power adapters here. That’s what I liked about the hotel. The place seemed a bit filthy, with stained carpets in the lift and rooms and blurry spots on the mirror. The rooms and shower area are so small I had to unpack on the bed. I paid quite a bit per night and didn’t feel it was worth it.

I arrived early on 28th Nov and asked if I could pay extra for early check-in. The counter staff said TW900, which I was fine with because I wanted to rest. But once I got to the room, I saw the bathroom mirror was badly stained. The staff hadn’t mentioned that before taking payment. When I asked how I was supposed to use it to wash my face, she said I could use the mirror beside the bed. What?! I asked to check out, got a refund, then had to wait until 4 pm for a room. They should have told me about the stained mirror first, or charged less or nothing. I’ll never stay at this hotel or its sister hotel again.

The rates were affordable, especially for travelers, and the location is very accessible from the main train station. The hotel staff were kind and accommodating.

It’s near the main station, with lots of restaurants around. The place was clean and the bathroom was really okay. After a long flight and a wait, I enjoyed the rain shower.
