Black Horn B&B

The room's bed was the first thing I noticed when I opened the door. It wasn't just large, it felt incredibly comfortable. Our bathroom had a deep tub that let you soak and forget the stress of the city. I also loved the air-conditioning vents in the bathroom. I've stayed in nice hotels in Taiwan before, but never one with that thoughtful touch. The electronic mirror was a nice feature for the ladies, with different lighting settings that seem useful for makeup. The lobby shows how much thought went into the design. It's a minimalist modern look with a classical touch, and they pulled it off beautifully. The hotel is the newest in Kenting. Check-in came with a warm, genuine welcome, and the staff and management were helpful with our questions. A modern elevator takes you up to the rooms. I'd stay at Black Horn again on future trips to Taiwan.

The room was elegant, clean, and comfortable, and for the price and service, Black Horn B&B felt like a boutique hotel to me. I've travelled to more than twenty countries. The hotel is in central Hengchun, about a 15-minute drive from Kenting and just a 3-5 minute walk from Hengchun's cultural sights. It's a great fit if you want both beach time and a chance to experience local heritage. We stayed for three days with little kids, which isn't always easy, and we were grateful for the front desk staff and all the service we received. Breakfast had a generous range of choices: a main dish, sides, salad, fruit, and drinks. They even put salad and fruit in my kids' breakfast box, and included black coffee for my morning routine. It's a very kid-friendly place for a family.

The staff were friendly and the location was handy, right beside the bus station with lots of restaurants around.

The balcony looks out toward the mountains, and the room was neat and clean. I liked having outlets right beside the bed. The lobby feels modern and stylish, and the elevator made getting luggage in easy. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, too.
