The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is very convenient. It’s right above the metro, across from shopping and dining, and within walking distance of the traditional market, major train station, and local and intercity bus terminal. The bed is king-size, but the room felt too small for comfort and seemed dated. The indoor air wasn’t great, so we had to keep the temperature very low. They also offer hourly rates for rest, which suggests some guests come for special purposes. We found a condom in the drawer and couldn’t tell whether it was supplied by the hotel or left by the previous guest.

There’s no car parking, so be aware of that before booking. Otherwise, the location is great, very close to the MRT station and convenient for getting around both Taipei City and New Taipei City.

The location is the best part. Fu Zhong train station in the Banqiao area of Taipei is less than a five-minute walk away, with a convenience store right across from the hotel, lots of places to eat and shop nearby, and Nan Ya night market within walking distance. The rooms are average in size, and cleanliness was only so-so. We stayed in Room 510, an upgraded family room with two king-size beds, for about NT$3200 a night.

Breakfast doesn’t have much choice, but there’s plenty of good food nearby, so that worked out fine. The hotel is close to the Metro and easy to get around from, and Ban Qiao night market is within walking distance. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. =)

For the price, this place is exceptional. The rooms are elegant and spacious, the baths were clean, and the upper floors have a great view. I’d recommend it to any traveller.
