The staff were energetic and really helpful, and the location slightly up the hill gives the second-floor balconies a nice ocean view. Good value, too. My only reason for four stars is the connecting door between every pair of second-floor rooms, which lets you hear your neighbors’ every move. It’s meant to allow the rooms to be joined as a family room, but it offers no soundproofing at all.

We booked a room when we bought tickets to the pet expo, and were told everything was full except double rooms. But when we got to the guesthouse at 9:30 PM, there were only two cars there. Sheets and towels were scattered over the hallway floor. The bathroom clearly hadn’t been cleaned: the sink was filthy and full of hair, and the floor, towels, and sheets were all yellow. We gave up and went home. We’d rather donate the 2000 yuan to someone who needs it. If you’re not going to put effort into running the place, don’t lure people in with tickets to major events. It was disgusting.

For 1000 yuan, the voucher stay included breakfast, and the breakfast was delicious. The room felt a little old, though the surroundings were comfortable. It was good value for the price, but probably not for anyone looking for a high-end place. A decent budget option.

The butler, "Brother Hui," was friendly and quick to respond, and made a very good impression. The accommodation, surroundings, and service all met my expectations, so I was satisfied with the stay. For the voucher price, having breakfast included made this feel like a very good deal. The Chinese buffet had around 8 dishes, with generous portions and enough variety to be satisfying. If I see this place again at a travel fair or in a voucher promotion, I’d consider staying again for the value, consistent quality, free breakfast, and good service. My stay was November 24th/25th, 2025, for 2 nights.

We booked well in advance using a travel voucher bought at a pet expo. As soon as I entered the room, the receptionist asked, "Does your dog bark a lot? If it's too noisy, can you take it to the car?" I thought this was supposed to be pet-friendly, so that was a pretty unfriendly way to start. 🤨 The TV didn’t work when I turned it on. I went straight downstairs, and the receptionist said, "Really? No one has mentioned it before..." He didn’t come up to check it, just said the place was full and there was nothing he could do. "You have to accept this if you check in today." It seemed like the TV was already broken, and I was left pretty dumbfounded. The room was clean enough, but the soundproofing was awful. I could hear everything the people next door were saying and doing. I wouldn’t want to come back. 🙂
