The view over the lake is the cherry on top. I loved sitting outside with coffee in the morning and looking at it. The place is peaceful, the rooms are great, and it's especially lovely if you have younger kids. It's a little away from the main beach area, but they can help call a taxi and the ride is only about 10 minutes. If you're looking to relax with children, this place is perfect 😎
A great family stay, with clean rooms and an excellent breakfast!
The room itself was decent, and the accommodation wasn't bad for the price, but the bed in the loft was quite hard and the small living room sofa wasn't comfortable. There's no breakfast included at this price, which is a shame. The shared facilities need renovation. The game room isn't appealing, and the pool table is so tilted it's unplayable. My impression is that it's okay for what it costs, though I'd consider upgrading if I had the chance. If the overall environment is unfavorable and costs are being cut, the facilities still need to be kept in decent shape. Some features shown in the recommended videos have already been removed, and if what's left can't be used either, people will be put off staying.
My child was worn out and asleep by around 8 pm after playing upstairs. The second floor has a play area with a basketball machine, table tennis, billiards, and more. There are free bicycles for adults and children on the first floor too. From our room's large balcony, we could see Longluan Lake. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My six-year-old even said, "Mommy, he's so nice! He speaks so gently!" In all our hotel stays, this was the first time my child had praised a staff member so much. Hengchun Old Street is close enough that finding food was easy. Highly recommended!
We stayed February 15-16, with one quadruple room and one double room. Both rooms and the bathrooms were very spacious, and the place was clean overall, though the room furnishings felt a little dated. There was a large balcony, but no slippers, so bring your own. The water pressure was strong and the hot water was hot. They even supplied conditioner, which was great for women. Bicycles were available for a morning ride, and although breakfast wasn't included, a nearby 7-Eleven was easy to reach by bike. The guesthouse is well located and away from a main road, so nights were quiet. The air conditioning was a bit noisy, though, so light sleepers should bring earplugs. The staff were friendly and polite and greeted us without being prompted. It was a very good experience.
