Sasa Nor Lamour B & B

The room was dated and not very clean, and the staff's response time was awful. There was no one at the front desk, and without a local number the only way to reach them was through Line, where replies sometimes took hours. I won't come back. I paid through Expedia six weeks before arrival and was told everything was settled. Then, when I got there, they said I had to pay again in cash and wouldn't take a credit card. They insisted I withdraw cash at an ATM, with no compensation for bank or exchange fees. They weren't apologetic at all. This unpleasant stay tainted my whole experience in Taiwan.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel sits across from a small beach. It's also well placed for getting to nearby sights. Breakfast is very good, with Taiwanese dishes, plus toast and coffee if Taiwanese food isn't your thing. I'd definitely recommend staying here while traveling in South Taiwan.

A quiet, clean getaway close to Kenting, with a beach right across the road. The beach was clean and uncrowded, and the place itself was neat and affordable. There were no stray dogs, just lovely local cats. There's also a great diving service right next door. The staff were amazing.

I'm from Singapore and stayed on the third floor facing the sea. The view was fantastic and completely unobstructed. The room was spacious and clean, and I enjoyed the Taiwanese porridge breakfast. Staff were polite and spoke English. It was everything I wanted from a B&B stay, and a perfect stay for me.
