Wandering Walls

The lounge became a lovely living room, and we enjoyed meeting the other guests there. We ate at the hotel both nights, and the meals were just right. The room and bathroom were comfortable, and we could enjoy the natural surroundings without giving up comfort. The lounge looks out over fields and the ocean, and the staff were incredibly nice. As visitors from Europe, we had trouble finding this guesthouse, but we're so glad we did. The winding approach, with roads getting smaller, made arriving exciting, and then the building's beautiful architecture came into view. Hospitality was superb. We'd love to return for a longer stay.

We spent 4D3N at wandering walls with friends and felt lucky to find it. It's about a 20-minute drive from the nearest town, with fresh sea air and greenery all around. A good choice if you want a break from city life. The staff are super friendly with dogs and kids, and the rooms are very clean.

The building has a distinctive design by a famous architect, and the hotel was a beautiful place unlike anywhere I've stayed before. The kids loved the pool on the third floor, which also has an ocean view. We enjoyed the happy hour, and the welcome drink and meal were served by well-trained staff. The room, service, and location were all perfect, and it's kid-friendly. I couldn't find any shortcomings.

I spent four nights at Wanwo during a month in Taiwan, and it was such a restful stay. It's a great place for a retreat or some quiet time alone. The setting feels peaceful, with a lovely mix of modern and rustic design and indoor-outdoor living. The room was spotless and comfortable. I stayed in the Green Acacia room and enjoyed the bath bomb and outdoor shower. The amenities were better than at some five-star hotels I've stayed in, including Shangri-LA in Taipei. The attention to detail and quality were exceptional. Breakfast was delicious each morning, made thoughtfully with local produce. They roast their own coffee beans, too, if you want coffee in the morning. I also looked forward to happy hour every afternoon. The snacks and wine were lovely, and there was a wide selection of drinks, including coconut water, juices, cider, beer, and scotch whiskey. The staff were kind and attentive. They don't usually offer a vegetarian dinner, which I had asked about when booking, but on my last night I was the only guest on the property and they surprised me with a special meal. Such a kind gesture. I had fun watching the playful birds on the rooftop pool. They flew around me and eventually came to dip in the water once they realized I enjoyed their company. I'd love to visit again, and recommend staying here if you're in Hengchun.
