Best Hotel

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from both the train station and bus station. The room was very nice and clean, and the service was good. When I visited, though, the gym, cafe, and restaurant weren’t operating.

The hotel is close to a 7-11, which is handy if you get hungry late at night. Our room was kept nice and clean, and they provided free water and tea, which was much appreciated since we drank a lot. The staff gave us directions to the night market and explained what things should cost so we wouldn’t get ripped off. They also told us about taroko national Park and how to get there.

There’s free parking, but the spaces are narrow and available on a first come, first served basis. The hotel seems to have seen better days. The rooms and bathrooms are large, but they need an upgrade. In my room, water clogged up while I was showering.

The bathrooms are spacious, and the price feels like good value. It’s a convenient location if you want to stay near the Hualien train station. Most of the room was clean, though I noticed a few stains on the carpet or furniture upholstery.
