The bed was the dealbreaker. The mattress was so soft that my back was killing me and I couldn’t sleep at all. I’d planned to stay longer, but after that first night I just couldn’t. Otherwise, it was clean, convenient, reasonably priced, and easy to book. Check-in and checkout were the smoothest ever. I did feel a bit uneasy about security because staff aren’t around all the time, though there are cameras and the lobby door locks at night, with key-card access only. Taiwan is generally safe, but that didn’t completely reassure me. If they upgrade the mattress, this could easily be a five-star stay.

A last-minute booking that turned out to be one of the best hotels we stayed at in Taichung. The room was spacious and clean, and we could conveniently walk to the night market and a park. The customer service was warm and genuine. We’d definitely come back if we travel to Taiwan again.

The location is pretty good, and the place feels relatively new. Rooms are spacious and clean, so it wasn’t bad overall. The beds weren’t great, too soft and too short, and the staff seemed totally indifferent. There’s a smart TV, but no Netflix login.

I paid more than NT4000 for one night over the 228 memorial long weekend. There was no heater, and the bed felt too soft and uncomfortable. If I’d known the normal-day price was 700-1000, I wouldn’t have stayed here. I understand prices go up on weekends and holidays, but the service or facilities should improve too. I wouldn’t recommend this place or say it’s worth staying at.

We brought our bikes and had plenty of room for them. Our room was clean and spacious, and in our case it had a window. The service was very friendly during our two-night stay. Mico, across the street, is a very good place for breakfast.
