Hi Inn

The rooms were clean and modern, and check-in was straightforward with great staff. It’s half a mile from the main bus routes, though walking there felt easy and safe at any time. Breakfast was decent.

We spent two nights here as a family of three, and the host was already looking out for us before check-in. He sent parking directions in advance and checked on us when we were running late. Since our room only had a shower, he also brought a basin for our little one to bathe in. The room was a good size, and having a fridge was useful. The hotel is just around the corner from the night market, but on a quieter street, so it’s a quick walk there without the evening market noise. The staff were friendly and breakfast was fine. What really stood out was how the host helped us get our son’s forgotten stuffed bear back while we were travelling around the island. He first looked for a courier to send it to our next hotel, then found another guest going to the same place and arranged for them to take it along. He went above and beyond. We’d definitely recommend the place and stay again in Hualien.

The owners were friendly, and parking was available. The hotel has been redecorated, and everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but really tasty, with both traditional and modern dishes. The shower had great pressure and the temperature was just right. It’s near the night market and beaches. Noise from inside the rooms didn’t carry, though traffic outside, especially motorbikes, could be heard.

The owner made things easy, picking us up and dropping us at the train station whenever we wanted. He even offered to ride with us to find vegetarian restaurants. There are free bikes, and breakfast was a hot buffet of Taiwanese food that changed each day. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The place is right by the ocean with a great view. Highly recommend staying here in Hualien!
