Hui Lan Lohas B&B

We stayed in a quiet neighborhood, and the rooms felt welcoming and were very clean. The owner was attentive and friendly from the moment we arrived. We forgot our wallet at the end of the stay, and when we called for help getting back into the room, he was happy to help right away. I'd recommend staying here.

The service was good, and the staff were easy to approach. Very satisfied.

I found this great B&B while on a business trip to Hualien. The owner said they had a larger room with two double beds, plenty of space, a separate wet and dry bathroom, and nine sockets, which was more than enough. I also appreciated having hangers and somewhere to hang clothes. A lot of B&Bs don't offer that, and I often find it frustrating to have nowhere to put my clothes when I travel.

A friend booked this guesthouse for us, and it turned out to be a great experience. A loyal fan chose it, and I can see why. The bed had just the right firmness for a comfortable night's sleep, and the owner clearly put thought into the furnishings and amenities. The place was clean and comfortable, and we'll definitely return. My husband especially loved the bathtub, and the elevator was a big help with all my luggage. Parking is a little limited, though.
