The shower had no limescale, and the room was both clean and comfortable. The landlady also made us feel very welcome.

The location made dinner easy: it’s near the night market, and Panda Express delivery is available if you don’t feel like going out. There’s also a convenience store and self-service laundry at the intersection. Inside, the room was roomy, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. When we arrived at the B&B that evening, the very friendly hostess offered us fruit and helped carry some of our luggage, which was a shame. I’ll pick this place again next time I’m in Hualien. 👍

The common areas felt cozy, and the host’s lively, warm greeting at check-in put me in a good mood right away. Because of an emergency, we had originally booked a double room, but the host upgraded us to a triple at no extra charge. The thoughtful little conveniences in the room made it a wonderful stay. And that bed cover, what material is it, and where did you buy it? It was so comfortable, I slept great! ^++++^ ^^

We booked late, so maybe all the bright rooms with windows were already taken. Ours had no window, which made it less comfortable. The landlady was very hospitable, but could we get a discount for a windowless room?
