The room felt new and was clean, with a comfortable bed. There was a nice choice of breakfast through the vouchers.

The owner is friendly and the service is excellent. Whenever I’m in Hualien, this is where I stay.

10/10
The owner was easy to talk to and friendly, and my room was tidy and clean. A chair and desk would have been useful, but for the price, it’s good value.

The breakfast is simple rather than fancy, but it’s thoughtfully made and has that home-cooked feel. The rooms are comfortable and clean, too. For the price, this guesthouse feels like a five-star stay at hostel rates. I’d say it’s a must during a Hualien trip, with a comfortable room and a lovely stay.
