Spring Hot Spring Inn

The room was quiet, clean, and very nice, with a great private bathroom. I booked an acupressure massage at 1990, and now I feel five years younger. Thank you so much for a truly professional treatment.

The cleaner did a good job in our room and changed the towels after 2pm. The location was alright, with street stalls and lots of convenience stores nearby, but I wouldn’t stay here again. I didn’t feel comfortable or safe, and didn’t enjoy the breakfast. The ceiling is low, and the flooring isn’t soundproof. Kids running, walking, or jumping excitedly can disturb guests below, so it doesn’t seem very suitable for families with children. The lift is too small to feel comfortable. I was extremely uneasy when I realized there was no staircase to reach level 1 from our room on level 3. Staff confirmed we couldn’t get to level 1 without the lift. They don’t provide bottled water, coffee, or spoons and forks in the room. When I called to ask for spoons, the front desk told me to go down and get them myself. I asked whether there was no service at the hotel, and only then did she come up with the spoons, looking extremely unhappy. Breakfast portions were too big for both adults and children, and the dishes were the same on both days. None of us could get used to the food, which seemed more suited to lunch or dinner.

The hard bed made it impossible for me to sleep. I asked for extra blankets to put underneath me the next night, but they could only offer one more small blanket. That still wouldn’t make sleeping comfortably easy, and I’d have to choose between padding the bed and having a blanket over me. The bathroom was nice, with its own natural hot spring, and breakfast was very good.

The standard room is quite small, so I’d pick a larger one in the annex. We upgraded to a 25-square-meter room with a big outdoor tub, which felt much more spacious and pleasant. The Japanese-style hotel is about a five-minute walk from the train station. There are lots of TV channels and movies, and the breakfast room is clean and roomy. Check-in starts at 4 pm.
