The hotel is well placed for the Metro, buses, restaurants, and shopping. Breakfast is made fresh each day, with three to five set meals to choose from. The downside is that there’s no heating anywhere in the hotel. On cold, rainy days it still blows cold air, which is a shame.

In my honest opinion, it’s good value, and people shouldn’t expect more than is reasonable based on the negative reviews. It isn’t the best four-star hotel, but it has held up well over the years and deserves some credit. I stayed in Room 113, a suite with a living area and a large bathroom. It was clean and tidy, the furniture was well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

For what we paid, it was okay, but it wasn’t what we expected. Some photos show a different Green World hotel across the street. The actual property feels like a large two-star hotel that may have been four-star 20 to 30 years ago, with only light updates since then.

We found the service excellent. Reception came to our room within five minutes when we had different requests, and the hotel even gave us a small souvenir for the New Year celebrations. The room was clean and spacious, with a separate shower and bath. Breakfast had a nice range of options. There’s a bus stop nearby with several services to places around Taipei, and the MRT is an easy walk too. The room was quite expensive for the New Year celebrations, but it was worth it.
