It's a budget hotel, and you get reminders of that during your stay, but it's the best option in the area. Sanhe Market in Sanchong District is close, as are two MRT stations. It's also much cleaner and more comfortable than Gui Fu Inn Giant Rich Hotel across the street. The hotel shares its building and elevators with other users. Some Cityview rooms are tiny, though the windows give them spacious views; the Riverview rooms are the most spacious. Its biggest plus is the location, with MRT stations and plenty of local places to eat nearby. Thanks to all the attentive staff, from the front desk and housekeeping to maintenance. Updated: The hotel is currently undergoing renovations to better serve future guests.

The room was filthy, had cockroaches, and was so small there was no room for bags. There weren't enough outlets, so I had to charge my phone in the bathroom. I could hear everyone talking outside. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I'd pay more for somewhere else.

The elevator took a long time at busy times because the hotel shares the building with lots of other businesses. Our first room was disgusting: scum around the shower, unclean mirrors, part of the toilet missing, splatters on the wall, and a dirty fridge, among other things. We told the front desk, and they offered another room. It was a little cleaner, but still the worst room I've stayed in in Taiwan.
