The yard

The interior was pleasant, and finding a place that allows pets is a real plus. Still, my first stay was awful. The hot water comes from a storage heater, and nobody warned me, even though I’d contacted customer service on LINE before check-in. It went cold halfway through my shower. I only noticed the small notice on the TV cabinet afterward, and the next person had to wait 15 minutes for hot water. The following morning I’d hoped to rest, but construction on the new building began after 8. I complained that the noise badly affected my stay and asked for a refund, especially since I’d paid a long-weekend rate. They replied that earplugs were provided. Just so you know, the construction is expected to go on for 3-4 years.

We spent three days here with our cat and dog, and the room and bathroom were spotless. Ours was a second-floor room with a balcony, and it stayed quiet all day. Parking close by was easy, and the pet cleaning charge wasn’t outrageous. Self check-in went smoothly even though we arrived late the first night. I’d come back if I’m in Yilan again. 😍

The 2F Ji Mengyue room felt comfortable and looked lovely. Two adults and our two-year-old stayed for two nights without feeling crowded. They also gave us a little cactus, which was a sweet touch. Highly recommend! 🌵

Food stalls nearby were handy, though most started shutting around 6 PM, so late-night food means Uber or a convenience store. I stayed in the third-floor Ice Jade room, where the window view was amazing. You could see Turtle Island in the distance, I think. Watching the light near sunset was really relaxing. I’d happily stay here again on another Yilan trip.
