Cingjing Guest House

The Chinese restaurant dining staff were the one bright spot for us. They were warm and friendly, and gave us lots of tips about the farm. The rooms get freezing in winter because there’s no heating system, so they weren’t comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend the guesthouse that much, apart from the food 😳.

There’s a big garden that’s lovely for a peaceful morning walk, and breakfast is a free buffet, which is a nice bonus 😍. The rooms were clean and the staff super friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay. Keep an eye out for hotel deals, as you can sometimes get a good discount. When I went, it was just over 1,000 NTD per person. Check out the photos!

Getting up here is a long trip, but there are good activities around the area if you want to clock your steps. The room was spacious. There’s no Aircon because of the high altitude, and it can get a bit warm in the daytime when the sun shines through.

Take the bus to the Qingjing Guest Hotel stop. The mountain area has lots of slopes. The hotel is in a handy spot across from a 7 Eleven and the Swiss Gardens. You can wait for buses to get to the Skywalk or Qingjing Farm, or walk uphill if you don't mind the climb. Around the hotel there are a few decks with different views, a little walkway and some shops. The rooms are good, but there’s no aircon, so the temperature depends on the weather. They provide a fan. The bathroom is nice, with hot air to dry towels or clothes, but the hot water stops at midnight. That’s a hassle if you’re doing a stargazing and sunrise tour at 3 in the morning. Breakfast was kinda uninteresting. You also get free access to Qingjing Farm, Skywalk and Swiss Gardens.
