The Totoro-inspired villa was lovely, and there's even a playground inside the room. The sunset and sunrise views are beautiful, though nights and mornings are extremely cold. A kind elderly couple own the place, and some of the staff are funny. Two staff members are Indonesian. It's a nice spot, with a 7-11 and familymart nearby. The villa is on a mountain, so reaching it means tackling steep slopes, and there are no lights at night. They serve homemade porridge, toast, and some appetizers for breakfast. It's very suitable for kids and brightens everyone's day.

It's a small, family-run villa with friendly service and a beautiful mountain view. You'll need a car to get there, about a 1.5-hour drive from Taichung city.
