Yonghe Resort

Our month-long Taiwan trip had no stay we liked more than Tian Hsiang Tea B&B, so we added an extra night. The room was clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view. The electric blanket worked well for heating, parking was easy, and nights were quiet. The owners and staff were warm and did everything they could to make the stay great. They gave us useful recommendations, offered to help with laundry, and packed breakfast for us when we had to leave before service to watch the sunrise. The breakfast itself was delicious.

From the outside the B&B looked modest, but inside we found a roomy space and beautiful views over the valley. Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were so helpful. Breakfast was delicious, too. I loved our stay and would like to come back to try one of the more premium rooms.

The best part was the sunny, warm November morning view, one of the finest I’ve ever seen. The room was huge, with an incredible outlook, and we even had a tiny, cute gecko inside. The family-run place seems to be a normal B&B; the man who checked us in was very kind and showed us around. Breakfast had a nice choice, and the host pointed us to a very good restaurant within walking distance. I don’t think there are any bars or pubs nearby, but relaxing in the room without distractions was fantastic. It’s right on the main road and easy to spot. Definitely recommend it, what an amazing experience.

This was just what I needed for a break while cycling to wuling pass. I’m so glad I stayed here. The views are stunning, the rooms are lovely, and the family made me feel very welcome. Highly recommend.
