We had a clean, large room with two double beds joined together, a balcony, and a built-in hot spring pool. They also had baby bathtubs, but the baby cot we requested turned out to be a playpen, so our baby had to sleep between us. The air conditioning was awful, with no control between very cold and off. The hotel gets tour groups coming and going each day, and breakfast was very busy from 6:30 to 7:30 in the morning, until the buses left. Still, our stay was generally positive.

There’s a public spring water bathing area, and you can also soak your legs on level 1. You need to wear a swimming costume to use those facilities, as I understand it. In our clean, spacious room, we had a spa bath where we could enjoy the spring water.

There’s an outdoor fish spa at the back of the hotel, by the lobby. The weather was lovely for sitting outside, having a drink or two, and soaking our legs. The staff were friendly, the beds were big and comfy for the whole family, and convenience stores are within walking distance. It’s a nice, affordable Yilan hotel, with a huge tub for a private hot spring if the public baths aren’t your thing.
