Down-Home Hotel

Yiting helped me plan my trip to Taiwan's southern islands before I even arrived, including ferry bookings and places to stay for the second part of my trip. Thanks to her, my two weeks went smoothly. The guesthouse sits on a little hill, and I think it's the best spot on the island. Flowers fill the garden, and the rooms and corridors are spotless. Jibei Shawei, the big sandy beach, is an easy walk away. Jibei Island feels like a park, so it was easy to relax there. The owner is cheerful, generous, and sharp. Her father also shares interesting stories about Taiwanese history, and her mother makes excellent black coffee every morning.

The people are the island's best scenery. This is the best place to stay on Gibe Island, and the owners deserve a thumbs up! 👍

We had a really relaxing two-night stay. The owner was glad to tell us about Jibei, from good food to things to do, and arranged our boat tickets, motorbikes, and water activities. I'd like to take a boat trip to Mudou Island next time.

The facilities feel high-end, everything was clean, and there's even an elevator. It's near Xikan Mountain, which makes a nice spot for stargazing when the weather cooperates. The landlady is warm and friendly, and clearly puts a lot of care into running the place. Her daughter was also very helpful, answering my questions and sorting out other bookings, including car rentals. I really appreciated how attentive they were throughout. I'd highly recommend staying here for a night in Penghu.
