The housekeeper was thoughtful when we arrived around 7 PM, waiting at the door in case we couldn't find the place. They also explained the room and nearby area in detail. The ensuite bathroom turned out to be one of the less comfortable parts of the stay. The toilet sits in the middle, leaving little room to stand while showering. After using the toilet, I hit my head on the door when I stood up to wipe myself. It felt much tighter than the ensuite bathrooms in Japanese city hotels. I'd expected an attached bathroom to be convenient, since some traditional houses have bathrooms outside the room, but this layout wasn't pleasant.

The manager gave us detailed travel information, and the welcoming atmosphere made us feel at home. This is a clean, tidy guesthouse in a traditional Kinmen house that's been converted for guests. Space and facilities are naturally limited in these old houses, so it's best not to expect what a modern hotel offers.

Set among a cluster of old houses, this B&B is very quiet. It's a good fit for travelers who want a break from the bustle and would like to experience Kinmen's distinctive old-house culture.

My husband and I plan to stay in the antique bed suite at Taipei 101 for our wedding. We had a wonderful time at the accommodations on the old street. The city center is 3 kilometers away. Deyue Tower and Jinshui Elementary School are 1 kilometer away, Zhaishan Tunnel is 2 kilometers away, Wentai Pagoda is 500 meters away, Yannan Academy is 1 kilometer away, and the pier is 2 kilometers away. The location is convenient, there are different room types, and the prices are affordable. Breakfast wasn't included, since the city center has plenty of tasty hot meals.
