Kinsa Holiday Hotel

I was disappointed with the overall quality at Jinsha Holiday Hotel. The rooms feel old, some facilities are broken, and the cleanliness was clearly not good enough. The linens and bathroom fixtures were uncomfortable too. Service felt indifferent, and the front desk staff showed little enthusiasm or professionalism, far short of the hospitality I expected from a guesthouse. The property was poorly maintained and noisy, and the whole experience was extremely poor. For domestic travelers, this kind of hotel is unacceptable and misses basic expectations. If Kinmen wants to grow tourism, accommodations like this need a thorough improvement or re-evaluation, or they’ll leave visitors with a bad impression and seriously harm the region’s image and tourism reputation.

There aren’t any convenience stores nearby, and the hotel is in a remote spot. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the Koh Samet shopping district, so it isn’t very suitable for tour groups. The hotel is 20 years old.

We went on October 5, 2025, and the countryside scenery was lovely, with green sorghum fields along the way. The price was fairly affordable and the rooms were clean, though the soundproofing could be better. Counter staff were very friendly and helped us find a taxi. It was about NT$450 to Jincheng Town, and scooters can also be rented. The vegetarian breakfast was filling and satisfying, making it a good fit for group travel.

The place is a bit dated, though reasonably clean. Breakfast comes with the stay, but you could skip it 🤣. There isn’t much choice, it was dirty, and there was even a turkey.
