The pictures make the hotel look much nicer than it is. It doesn't feel polished enough to justify the price. The location is good, a short walk from the water, and the front desk service was nice. The breakfast was okay, but the snacks outside breakfast hours were so poor that they might as well drop them. The alcohol dispenser by the elevators stayed empty the whole time I was there, and the front door is awkwardly designed.

Breakfast was bland and boring, and the snack bar was one of the worst I've seen, just cheap biscuits and miserable food that seemed thrown together so they could claim to offer something. Parking was a headache from the start. There aren't nearly enough guest spaces. Once the tiny lot fills up, they basically shrug and send you to some random spot five minutes away with terrible directions. After a long day, wandering around at night trying to work out where to leave the car was beyond frustrating and totally unacceptable. This place wasted my time and money. With parking like that and such poor food options, I wouldn't recommend it.

The room was clean and tidy with enough space, and the hotel was family friendly. I also enjoyed having so many bubble tea shops nearby. The front desk staff were friendly and polite, and when I left my belongings in a shop, they did their best to contact the shop and help me. I appreciated it and enjoyed my stay.

Everyone on staff was attentive and helpful, and the room was clean with comfortable beds that made for a good night's sleep. We also had free parking, breakfast, and snacks available around the clock. This was a great stay and our new favorite place in Kaohsiung City.

The service throughout was wonderful, on par with good establishments in Taiwan. We were a family of five visiting for tourism and booked two suites. The hotel worked well for jet-lagged travelers, with food available 24/7. Breakfast was included, and we expected little, but the buffet's quality rivaled and even beat most five-star hotel buffets in Taiwan. We stayed five nights and the variety changed surprisingly each day. The rooms were nice and the bathtub was great. Our suite layout differed a little from the picture: the bathroom sink was by the room entrance, outside the enclosed bathroom, which felt strange and inconvenient. Maybe there are different layouts, but we didn't ask because we wanted the rooms close together. They were on consecutive floors, right by the stairs, which suited us. A minor issue was the bathroom lighting placement. The room's dark theme made that especially inconvenient in the morning for my wife. The laundry room was free and spacious, with just two washers and two dryers. The hotel isn't large, and no one else was using them while we were there. I wish the gym were larger, had more equipment, and opened earlier than 9 a.m. It closes at 10 p.m., but what's there seems typical for a hotel this size. Parking is less than a minute's walk away. The lot is small, around 8-10 spaces, though they stretch it to about 14, and the staff manage it well. We had a rental car, but also walked to the subway and light-rail stations, about 5-7 minutes away. The light-rail stop is at the far western end of Love Pier. There's a very expensive department store next door with upscale dining, plus a nicer, more affordable one near the subway with plenty of food choices. It felt like a hidden gem in Kaohsiung and a particularly good fit for jet-lagged travelers. I got the sense most guests were locals, perhaps people on business. It wasn't crowded during our stay, which we liked. I hope the hotel keeps doing well and stays open.
