Sanduo Hotel

My mother, sister, and I stayed here in March of 2024. The rooms are simple, with enough for sleeping or taking a break during the hottest part of the day. We hadn't realised there was a music festival in town when we booked, so we had to change rooms for a couple of nights and pay a little extra. The staff were kind and helpful, though, and we didn't have to find another hotel. One neighbor smoked and walked around naked with their door open. After a couple of calls to the front desk, the hotel removed them. The building is old, more like a Motel 6 than a Marriott or Comfort Inn, and the rooms are basic. The area is handy for transportation, shopping, and good food. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and its good range of choices. The rooms were clean, and once we figured out the AC units we were comfortable. Requests for cleaning or extra towels were handled promptly, and everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful with questions. We'll be back in a year and will look at staying here again.

The staff were so nice, and the price is very fair. The interior design is cute, though the rooms and floors could use an update. Our room was tiny, with one side of the double bed right against the wall, which made it awkward for two people. The location was okay, but it's about a 12-minute walk to the metro. We loved the breakfast buffet.

Great value for money. The room was comfortable, the shower was great, and breakfast was delicious. Staff were very helpful, and they even run a shuttle to the nearby night market, which was great too. Brilliant hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but they couldn't make up for the rest of the place. I left after two nights even though I'd booked four, because I couldn't stand staying another minute. It's an old hotel that badly needs renovation. The online photos look at least ten years old and don't match what I found: things were rusty and mouldy. The place was clean, but smelled quite bad, especially in the corridors. My room felt depressing, with wall stickers peeling and holes in the sheets and towels. It was noisy too. Even on the sixth floor I could hear the street and other rooms loudly. Breakfast was low quality and not good for vegetarians. They use a ridiculous amount of disposable stuff, with paper cups and plates instead of proper ones.
