The rooms are only 6m², but you do get a TV, and at least breakfast is included, even if it isn't a big one. The real highlight for me was the 24 bath, with its sauna and pools. Great value for money, and I'll stay again. There was a smell in the men's sleeping area. The first night was okay, but it was pretty bad on the second, so it may have been another guest. Since the area is in the basement and has a bath, there's a lot of humidity. They know about it and have dehumidifiers and an air purifier set up.

I had all my money stolen here. This place didn't feel suited to backpackers, and I suspected locals might be looking for a foreigner to steal from. The Wi-Fi was terrible, and almost nothing was complimentary, though I did notice some free coffee. A towel costs $50. My room had 36 beds, most of them occupied, so people came and went all night, with the door slamming each time. There are only 4 men's toilets in the whole place. Staff were somewhat helpful, but the place felt like a halfway house. Don't come here!

The neighbor was loud around 1:30am, walking heavily and moving things around so noisily that I could hear everything from my room. It made it very hard to rest. I had booked a single room, and the listing clearly said it had air conditioning. In fact, there was no air conditioner or even a fan in the room. The only ventilation was supposedly centralized air coming from a fan in the corridor. In Kaohsiung's hot, humid weather in the middle of August, that made the room extremely uncomfortable and the listing misleading. I felt cheated and had a very unpleasant stay. This was by far my worst stay, and I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone. With this budget, you can definitely find somewhere better.

I stayed here for one night and had a wonderful time. The large bath house is a plus.
