Breakfast was such a treat, plentiful, nutritious, and delicious, with produce grown by the owners. We stayed in a duplex: spring beds downstairs, then a simple, stylish upstairs space with a welcoming, old-fashioned feel. After parking in the fields, we noticed “Tian Mama,” the half-day restaurant supported by the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, on one side and our accommodation on the other.

I felt bad when I spotted the wall notice and realized check-out was at 10:00, not 11:00. The owner never came to hurry me along. The room was very clean, and the owner was warm and friendly. It’s a lovely guesthouse, and I’d like to stay again.

The room decor was nice, and the place had parking, good value, and excellent service. But there was dust and trash visible under the bed, which really spoiled the impression of the otherwise attractive room. I’d booked two double rooms, and one was advertised online as having a TV but had none. The TV in the other room only had five digital channels. Had I known, I would have looked for another B&B.

The landlady was so welcoming and took time to explain the tea. I loved the people and the atmosphere, and the room was cozy and clean. Fireflies are easy to see nearby, too. If I get the chance, I’ll come back and try the food.

We were the only guests yesterday, so the owner offered us a duplex room. My son wasn’t keen on it! 🤣🤣 The room itself was cozy, and the hallway was spotless. I’d recommend this place for a trip to Lugu. 🥰
