We were able to check in at 2 PM even though the owner said the correct time was 3 PM, so I appreciated that. I'd booked through TripAdvisor, which listed checkout at 12 PM, but the owner said the platform had the schedule wrong and checkout was actually 11 AM. It might be best to confirm the times with the platform beforehand. The location is handy, close to Wenggang Chicken Street and the interchange, and there was plenty of parking. The room was large and bright, with a very soft, comfortable bed. Hot water took a little while to come through, but not too long. Breakfast is left in the room in a cooler, and it's bought from outside. My Chunghwa Telecom signal was poor, so I used the room Wi-Fi. The TV didn't have a fourth channel. Towels, bath towels, and slippers were disposable. The speaker-style door lock made me a little uneasy about security, and the wooden door let in a lot of sound. Other than that, things were okay.

The parking lot was huge, but inside the room I found leftover braised food in the refrigerator from the previous guest. The outside of the electric kettle was dirty, and there were sticky marks on the vanity. It was my first stay here.

The room was a decent size, the parking lot was spacious, and the view was nice. There was also a cute dog. The rest was frustrating: the owner spoke rudely when we asked how to get around a road closure that navigation hadn't warned us about. The extra bed cost 500, but was just a very basic mattress. Bathroom toilet paper smelled musty, the hair dryer barely worked, and the AC took ages to cool the room.

I was freezing when I woke at 1:30 AM. During the cold snap there was no heating, and all they'd given me was a thin blanket. When I told the owner, he said, "Why didn't you mention it? I could have given you more blankets." What was I supposed to do, complain to someone in the middle of the night? Didn't he know how cold it was? Thumbs down. Don't stay here!

The room was bright and clean, with breakfast included. There's no elevator, which was the main drawback, but kids weren't charged extra and it was quiet at night. The front yard is roomy and parking is easy, and the place is a short walk from the interchange. No toiletries are supplied, though disposable towels and slippers are available. There's a light blanket in the room. The bathroom has great water pressure and temperature.
