We were lucky to visit in the low season in December 2025 and were the only guests, with free run of the resort. The staff were very attentive, and Alan, our bartender, was a favorite. He shared plenty of tips on things to see and do nearby. The service was amazing, the resort was beautiful, and the food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. I'd love to return in warmer weather and try the pool. Highly recommend for a beautiful, stress-free vacation.

Deer Catcher is an elegantly designed escape surrounded by Taiwanese nature, with generous, personal, welcoming service. Ou Ou, the charismatic and thoughtful house keeper, made us feel special and brightened our stay. The food and drinks were delicious and added to the relaxed, indulgent feel. We'd highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back soon.

Being surrounded by the forest made it easy to unwind. A lovely spot if you want to be close to nature, and I'd recommend a visit.
