Beitou No. 117 Hotel

It used to be a shared rental when I stayed here five years ago. This time, we rented the whole house. The owner even remembered my pet pig 🐷, the only one! 😆😆 There's parking out front for about 4-6 cars. Inside, there's an electric mahjong table, a game console, karaoke, Netflix, and a coffee machine. Outside are front and back yards, a small pond, and a barbecue area. A premium, pet-friendly B&B in Yilan.

We decided at the last minute to head to Yilan with friends and booked the whole building. It's near the city center and not far from Luodong Night Market. The place has karaoke, a Switch, mahjong, a swimming pool, and barbecue facilities. The coffee machine came with beans, and the coffee was delicious. Complimentary drinks were provided too. We had planned to make hot pot on the second night, and the host thoughtfully brought out a pot for us. We didn't end up cooking, but I appreciated the gesture. They provide shampoo, shower gel, and towels. Bring your own face wash, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, and lotion. I'd book the whole building here again if I have the chance.

There's lots to do without even leaving the guesthouse: karaoke, game consoles, mahjong, hot pot, and barbecue. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the owner kindly put out drinks, cookies, and fruit. It was fantastic value, and I hope to stay again on my next trip to Yilan.

We booked a room about six months ahead, and since our group had an odd number of people, we asked the owner if we could each have our own rooms. He was patient, talked through the options, and found us the best arrangement and price. He was really thoughtful and generous. ❤️ It's a pet-friendly B&B, but the place was still very clean, with no hairs floating around. The owner was attentive and welcoming, and even gave us snacks and fruit for free. The price was incredible. 🎉 The location is handy for nearby attractions, and I especially recommend it to car lovers. It's a whole house with a private courtyard, so you don't have to squeeze in with other people, and you can sleep peacefully while traveling. 🛌
