The location was great.

For just one night, this was perfect for the price. The room with a single bed was small, but clean, and the front desk staff were courteous. It's hard to beat the location, right beside luodong nightmarket, and the beach is about a 10-minute scooter ride or drive away. There was no window, and the mattress was rock hard.

The room was tiny and had a strange smell, and even the blankets smelled. Sound carried badly through the poor soundproofing. The old style door needed a key, and its switch turned off every light in the room, which made no sense. The bathroom fan was tractor loud, the air conditioner temperature kept changing, and the bed was rock hard. Service was just as bad. The front desk staff were rude and unpleasant. They only told us about the access control system when we arrived, without mentioning it ahead of time. Late at night, the cleaning lady knocked randomly, as if she had confused the lights in the wrong room, and disturbed us. This place is a total rip-off, with awful facilities and service. Anyone who stays here will regret it. Run away!

There is a curfew here: you can't enter or leave between 1:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Check-in needs to be completed before 7:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, you can come back to pick up your key before 11:00 PM. The place is a bit old, but the hot water gets plenty hot. Earlier reviews said there was only central air conditioning and no air conditioning, but maybe that's changed, since an air conditioner has been added alongside the central system. The value for money is okay. Under government policy they provide only basic items: bath and hand towels, tissues, shower gel, shampoo, and a hairdryer. Bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Two bottles of water are included.
