The housekeeper at Shuiwanwan made a big difference. He arranged airport rides, shared restaurant and sightseeing tips, and patiently explained routes around Penghu, so we could explore without planning everything ourselves. It felt like getting help from a friend. We were welcomed with refreshing rose tea, and the next day he surprised us with free tofu pudding when we came back to leave our shopping. Such a sweet, unexpected gesture. Breakfast was another treat: Erxin Rice Balls and Zhongji Baked Flatbread on the first two mornings, so no early queues, then three options to choose from on day three. All three breakfasts arrived hot at our door in an insulated bag. They also lent us extra blankets and helped book a scooter with return service. It was in great shape, not an old model, and handled both mountain and seaside routes well. We asked for hooded helmets, and he provided them to keep sand and bugs out of our eyes while riding. My second trip to Penghu, and staying here felt like being at home. The sea-view room gave us gorgeous mornings and night views, plus a balcony chair where I could sit and enjoy the breeze. The place was clean, cozy, and conveniently close to the city center, and I slept well. Definitely choose Shuiwanwan when visiting Penghu, I'd make it my first pick again. One extra: the butler said next time he could take us water surfing. Apparently you get kicked into the water, haha!

The owner is the one providing round-the-clock service, and it's excellent. I accidentally scratched my rental car, and the owner promptly got in touch with a professional car dealership to help. It wasn't even a dealership they had recommended, but I still felt strongly supported. I'll come back for sure!

The handsome butler and the housekeeper were both great, attentive and helpful, and I'd give their service full marks. They made me feel at home while keeping respectful boundaries, so I never felt uncomfortable. Every room type was comfortable overall. Highly recommend! 👍👍
