The room was quiet and clean, and if anything comes up, the guesthouse responds quickly when contacted. They explained in advance that extra comforters cost NT$200, which was fine. A few small things could be better. The in-room toilet paper was the same thin, small kind you get in restaurants, so I used my own, though it was usable. The dispenser only had warm water, so I'd suggest buying your own. Parking may be short if several groups are staying at once, and you'll have to look elsewhere. Also, parking outside the fence across the road makes getting in and out difficult.

The owner shares information about tourist attractions, and peak-season prices are relatively cheap. The rooms are clean. They don't change sheets during longer stays, which I see as environmentally friendly. Coffee packets are left in the living room for guests. It's a quiet spot not far from the city center, and soundproofing should be good unless neighbors open their doors or talk. The downside is finding it in an alley, where street signs aren't very clear. Meals aren't included, which makes sense at this price. For breakfast, turn right at the alley entrance, and there are several options 600-850 meters away. 7-Elevens and FamilyMarts are also at the traffic lights, very convenient by bike. They can help with itineraries, transport, or scooter rentals, though I didn't use those services. Scooters can be parked there, but let them know ahead if you need a car space.

The room is quiet at night and about a 10-minute drive from Mascot. Getting to other places is convenient, and the booking agent and airport transfer service were both friendly and helpful. The room itself was very small, though, and the hardware felt poorly thought out. There were no bathroom hooks or shower shelves, and in the quad room there was barely room to move once a suitcase was open. The sofa was very flat and uncomfortable to sit on. We stayed two nights, and nobody helped clear the trash, which is inconvenient with children because dirty diapers smell awful. At least they supplied trash bags so we could leave it by the door. For a one-night stay, it should be good value.

My family had a terrible experience with the driver. He overcharged us, then complained after checkout about the pickup and drop-off times, even though we'd told him in advance. He said the delays happened because we kept changing the times, and communicating with him was very difficult. The driver at the hotel I stayed at arrived early and helped with luggage, yet this driver still complained about my family. Should I post the conversation records?
