The area around the guesthouse is quiet, and it was easy to leave the city bustle behind. The owner told us it was newly built in 2025, and the rooms felt spacious and very comfortable. Everything looked bright and clean, with lovely natural light that suits the name "Sangmu" (meaning "sangmu"). Adults can enjoy the view through the floor-to-ceiling windows while kids use the indoor pool, though children should still be supervised. Some rooms sleep up to 14, or 16 with extra beds, so I especially recommend it for families with young children or older relatives. You can tell the owner cares about the place, and I hope to come back every year. During peak season, they mostly take bookings for the entire guesthouse; smaller groups might find occasional off-season deals.

A family stay in Penghu here made for a relaxing, lovely vacation. I was surprised by how charming and beautiful the B&B was, and the facilities were great too. The owner is young and really nice, and also offers car rentals in Penghu. Staying here was definitely the right choice. 😎

Sangmu is a quality place to stay in Penghu, especially if you notice the little details. A group of friends can book the whole building, with electric mahjong tables, karaoke, and a Switch to keep you busy all day. I'd definitely recommend it to visitors.

I usually see upscale B&Bs with pools in Yilan, so finding one in Penghu at an affordable price was a real surprise. The stay was excellent, and the planning showed how much care the owner put in. The owner is young and the service was great. Sangmu B&B will be my first choice next time I'm in Penghu. Highly recommend!
