The food is lovely, and the chef has worked at a Michelin-starred restaurant before. The hotel has a charming European feel, while the welcome and attentive service make the stay feel even warmer than a European getaway.

We had the rooftop dining room to ourselves on Christmas night, since my wife booked for December 25th and there were no festivities around us. Dinner wasn't being served, but the staff brought plates, cutlery, and cups for our takeout and switched on the room heater so we could eat comfortably. From 8-9 PM, the Hotel Manager even came by to make complimentary welcome drinks just for us. They were excellent and unusual. The place itself is beautiful, but the care they took to keep us comfortable was the standout. Taiwanese hospitality is known for being good, and this went above and beyond.

We came for our honeymoon, straight after the wedding, and once the hotel learned why we were there, they gave us some lovely gifts. The food was fantastic and never dull, and the service was beautiful. We got their best room and the warmest welcome we've ever had. The chefs really looked after their guests. We visited about a year ago and can highly recommend the hotel.

Milo was a great server, and the meals were prepared really well. We were looked after as soon as we arrived, and our room was clean and very comfortable. I loved the French provincial interior, and the whole place felt relaxing. A lovely getaway.
